petpeeveeeeee~10/25/11 in class thinking

One thing that really really bothers me is when others rejoice in someone else's mistakes, past, or hardship they are going through or have been through. I think it is such a low blow, and its disgusting. I think it is one thing if the person is open about it, but when you spend all your time searching , waiting just for someone to slip up just to say i told you so is a huge reflection on yourself.. and you have nothing better to do. I think its even more disgusting when people you call your friends rejoice in your misery or unfortunate luck. Or they hold it over your head. For me friendship isnt about what your friends can give you or not give you or what they have or dont have. Friendship isnt about how popular the person is or how cool they are or how many friends they have. I think the most important thing in friendship for me atleast is loyalty and trust. I have had the unfortunate luck of choosing many of the wrong people to think were my friends and really they were just leeches using me until I slipped up and then they could drop me like a hot tomato. I think the problem with me & my choice of friends is I have this preconvinced conviction that all people think the way I do. Unfornuatly I have learned this is not true. I grew up thinking everyone you meet always has the best intentions, and only wanted the best for you. Sadly in our society and especially in my generation this is not true. People in the world that I meet today (not all but a good amount) only rejoice in your failures and the moments they can feel superior and above you. Its not as easy as just thinking everyone wants to be your friend and really cares about your friendship. Through my expiriences and the ones I still unfornuatly will and continue to learn from I realize you have to find the people that have the same values and think the most like you. The people you have the most fun with and that do not judge you. The people that help you through your misfortunes and that you in return help them in their misfortunes!

LC : said it best. and watching her go through losing friends was so relatable! unfortunatly
